Baden-Württemberg will Doping zum Straftatbestand machen

Nach den langjährigen aber bisher gescheiterten Bemühungen einzelner Mitglieder des bayerischen Justizsystems will das westliche Nachbarland Baden-Württemberg in Sachen Doping endlich Nägel mit Köpfen machen. Insbesondere unter dem Aspekt des gescheiterten Plädoyers für ein Anti-Doping Gesetz von Katja Mühlbauer im Rahmen der Mitgliederversammlung des DOSB vom 11. Dezember 2012 kann die Entscheidung aus Baden-Württemberg als möglicher Wendepunkt in einer festgefahrenen bundeseinheitlichem Gesetzesinitiative betrachtet werden.

Wie die «Süddeutsche Zeitung» in der Online-Ausgabe berichtet, soll ein Straftatbestand Doping gesetzlich verankert werden. Der Vorstoß wird schon jetzt vom um Autonomie des Sports kämpfenden DOSB kritisiert. Justizminister Rainer Stickelberger (SPD) kontert in den «Stuttgarter Nachrichten»: "Wir haben heute im Kabinett beschlossen, eine entsprechende Bundesratsinitiative mit einem konkret ausformulierten Gesetzesvorschlag einzubringen."
